Of similar strength to its Kaolik cousin, Marang Marang is a smaller kava plant that grows up to 1-2 meters high. It has a smaller stump root compared to Kaollik, however this means it is easier to harvest as it is not nearly as heavy.
Marang-Marang has a slightly milder taste than Kaollika, yet for those that wish to buy kava primarily for a strong kava effect you won't be dissapointed. Kava purists have compared the effect of Marang- Marang to another well known Vanuatu kava strain - Melo Melo kava - from the Pentecost islands, however we believe its even better!
